Art Fleming Trail, Danville IL
54ºF Calm & Clear

Observed:
4-Robins in the Meadow
5-Robins in the woods
9-Grackles in the woods
2-Mourning Doves

The Big Black Oak by 2nd Bridge
I observe swarming Gnats at the 3rd Bridge. And a house fly hit my nose as I was walking on the trail.

I think this is someone's home. There is a burrow, and it looks deep. This is by the 3rd bridge.

The understory is starting to bub and turn green. Small plants are starting to emerge. With the first flowering plant.

Sap flowing from a Sugar Maple Acer saccharophorum.

Finally a Common Grackle perched majestically bidding me farewell as I leave the trail.
