  • 1 - Small Unidentified Bluish/Grey bird foraging in the trail.
    • Probable candidate Cerulean Warbler
Various trail maintenance needs to be done. All foot bridges needs to be replanked. Marshy Bridge needs completion. Trash needs to be picked up on the perimeter for at least 8' into the brush.

The water level at the 1st bridge is 7¼" Clear and steady. The green algae is gone and what is left is covered with silt.

Dandelions are quit plentiful in the Meadow.

Worms are coming up out of the ground. This one was partially eaten .

As I walk down the trail I see more shrubs with leaves and some of the tree crown are starting to bud leaves. Also there are many large patches of May Apples.












A natural dam and waterfall on the main stream.





Moss covered grape vines.




Clover in the perimeter of the woods.

I heard a few birds singing and calling but they where being very illusive to find.

First tree in the woods with leaves.


 Hard to tell at this stage but the leave litter points to either White Oak Quercus alba or Bur Oak Quercus macrocarpa.

At the First Bridge there is a drainage pipe under the trail and a ground squirrel ran into it.
 

Spotted a Carolina Chickadee and a Wood Thrush Hylocichla mustelina.

As I was on the short-cut trail I spotted a Rabbit.
